This company wanted to help them, and it created a chatbot that refugees can use for mental health support.

Facebook is working to get help faster to people considering suicide by detecting suicidal signs in their posts and flagging them to human moderators.

For a long time, researchers have been trying to map the brain. Relatively recently, though, scientists made a huge leap by identifying 97 new regions in the brain. Then they needed to verify this research, so they used an AI to check their findings. Not only did the artificial intelligence find 96.6% of the regions the researchers identified, it also showed when an atypical brain differed from the map, meaning it could be used in the future to identify when things don’t quite look right in our brains.
