HOW DOES OUR CURRICULUM COMPARE VS. TABLEAU’S?

A FOCUS ON WHAT
MATTERS MOST

Our introductory Tableau Analyst course covers the same topics as Tableau’s Desktop I course, except for calculations. It goes further than Tableau’s course in terms of connecting to multiple data sources (from Tableau’s Desktop II course), and incorporates elements of Tableau’s Visual Analytics course, in terms of using visual best practices.

Our intermediate Tableau like a Pro course again covers most of the same topics as Tableau’s Desktop II, but avoids use cases and features that are not regularly needed by most people. Our course covers segmentation and interactivity in more depth.

Our advanced Tableau Analysis Ninja course has some similar elements to Tableau’s Desktop III course but goes much further in terms of teaching people how to ask and answer the right business questions, use the 5 types of analytical techniques to find insights, and then clearly present conclusions. It’s extremely unique and has been used to train consultants at top consulting firms.

Our Data Storytelling Samurai course is entirely unique and is focused on communicating insights clearly, persuasively and in the most actionable format possible. It combines elements of Tableau’s Visual Analytics and Art+Data courses, with a healthy dose of unique content stemming from more than a decade of in-the-trenches consulting work.

Our Tableau Prep course is similar to Tableau’s Prep I course, but goes into more advanced use cases in the second day, based on situations encountered from realworld consulting projects.
